COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced a road closure for State Road 46 in Bartholomew County.
On or around Monday, August 17, crews will begin lane restrictions on State Road 46 East, near Hartsville, between State Roads 7 and 3.
The lane closures will allow a chip-and-seal road maintenance project to take place. Work is expected to take four weeks to complete, depending on the weather. A flagger will control the traffic.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
