BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. –UPDATE: 4:25 p.m.: Northbound I-65 is currently heavily backed up and traffic is moving at almost a standstill due to emergency crews cleaning up the wreckage of a double semi-trucker crash from earlier this morning, September 24.

The Indiana State Police-Versailles Post are on scene of a crash involving two commercial motor vehicles on I-65 Northbound at the 74 Mile Marker in Bartholomew County.
There are no injuries.
The left northbound lane is currently open. However, there is a significant backup. This will be a lengthy cleanup.
Seek an alternate route throughout the day if traveling northbound on I-65. Troopers have been assisted by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, Edinburgh FD, German Twp FD, Columbus Twp FD, and 31 Wrecker Service.
