SEYMOUR, Ind. - Following a nearly two-week investigation, the Indiana State Police (ISP)-Versailles Post arrested a Jackson County couple on Wednesday, April 22, on multiple felony charges.
The investigation began on April 10 when the Indiana Department of Child Services contacted ISP detectives, after allegations of abuse against a minor child were made to them.
Investigators learned that Farron J. Dyer, 30, and his wife, Raven N. Dyer, age 29, both of Seymour, allegedly molested and battered a juvenile in Jackson County earlier this year.
The pair was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail. They were initially charged with Child Molesting, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Neglect of a Dependent, and Battery.
Farron and Dyer are currently being held pending formal charges being filed. They will then face an initial appearance in the Jackson County Circuit Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
