SEYMOUR, Ind. - Lydia Grove, formerly Chateau de Pique winery, is scheduled to have its Grand Opening on May 9, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The event venue and vineyard, at 6361 North County Road 760E in Seymour, is situated on 80 acres of rustic countryside.
The new owners of Lydia Grove say it will be a place for gathering, celebrating, and making memories, and they can't wait to show it off.
Some of the Grand Opening highlights are listed below.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

Local craft, jewelry, and clothing boutiques under the tent

Cupcakes and sweets from a dessert truck

Special food and drink offerings in the tasting barn and under the tent
2 to 4 p.m. - Live music on the patio
4 to 6 p.m. - Meet the owners and their family, learn about the rich history of this land, and walk the grounds and enjoy the view
6 to 9 p.m. - Live Music
The owners said, "We're opening now because we couldn’t wait, but our Lydia Grove wines and beers are coming soon ... they'll be a full bar ready for you in the meantime."
