COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local man is in custody after punching a fast-food drive-thru window and demanding free food.
When the Columbus Police Department (CPD) officers arrived at the Taco Bell on 25th Street early Thursday morning, they questioned Michael McGinty, 31, of Columbus. Officers say they noticed that his speech was slurred and he smelled of alcohol.
CPD says McGinity was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to identify, and obstruction of justice.
