If you weren’t on the radio, what would you be doing?
It’s kind of funny but I can’t remember a time where I wasn’t in some shape or form doing this type of work. I certainly think I would try to use these particular skills for something in the ministry. That is my true passion.
What was your favorite song in middle school?
It would be hard to say, but when I think of middle school and music, I have to think of Spin Doctors so I would probably have to say Two Princes.
Favorite vacation?
Now this is going to sound crazy, but even though I drive for my full-time job, I would want a vacation where I’m just driving somewhere new. I want to see the sights from behind the wheel. Tours are fine, but let me explore a new place.
What is your favorite pizza topping?
Unless I’m ordering a specific specialty, bacon is on all of my pizzas.
Favorite Movie(s)?
That changes so much depending on mood, but most of the really goofy comedies would have to be at the top. Anchorman, step brothers, Walk Hard.
Favorite TV show?
WWE Raw and smackdown? If I did have to pick a show I would probably say Duck Dynasty and anything Robertson related.
What’s your favorite season?
I love fall for many reasons. If we get an extended one, it lowers the heating and cooling bills, got that little chill in the air where you might be in shorts in the morning and a jacket in the evening. And a little thing called football is up and running again and in the fall my team is still in contention, so that’s nice.
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Not having any plans and being able to eat a bunch of junk food and watch sports.
What’s your favorite holiday?
For the longest time I answer Thanksgiving. I don’t particularly have to have a special day to give thanks, but there is a specific day of the year where we load up on food and football and just lounge around in the middle of the week. I mean any day I do that would be my favorite.
What’s your favorite game to play?
Euchre, yahtzee, and if we’re going video game, then Mario Kart.
What’s your favorite hobby?
Driving with the windows down and the music or sermons or podcasts turned up.
Favorite album or concert…all time, or within the last year or so?
Chris LeDoux was an amazing performer and put on a couple of the greatest concerts I’ve ever seen. I would also have to put Lynyrd Skynyrd on that list because every time I’ve gotten to see them it’s been a great show.
