COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Young Professionals and the Chamber are looking to recognize young talent at this year’s NextGen Awards on Friday, September 13.
The Awards luncheon will recognize six people and one business who have showed great skills in leadership, intelligence, exuberance, and dedication to improving the community. These are the following recipients for this year:
YP Volunteer of the Year – Tyshaun Allen, of Taylor Brothers Construction.
YP Innovator of the Year – Joshua Carter and Adrian Wibowo of Helix BioStructures, LLC.
YP Educator of the Year – Shane Yates, BCSC per-kindergarten director.
Unsung Hero – Tim Green, Foundation for Youth.
NextGen Business of the Year – Assisted Independence.
Community Contribution Award – Susana Villegas, Program Coordinator with Columbus Area Arts Council.
Each of these recipients will be honored at the NextGen Awards Luncheon at the Commons in Downtown Columbus.
