Heritage Fund relaunches Women’s Giving Circle


COLUMBUS, Ind. – Heritage Fund relaunched the Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) on Tuesday evening with a crowd of more than 60 women in attendance. Attendees had the chance to learn about a new direction for the Heritage Fund program.

The new WGC direction is embraced in its mission statement which is, “to educate, inspire, and practice strategic philanthropy by using the collective strengths and financial resources of local women to create positive change in Bartholomew County.”

Key initiatives of the new Women’s Giving Circle include a women-in-crisis micro-loan program, a Bartholomew County report card for women and strategic grantmaking, and a women’s leadership pipeline.

WGC president Katie Glick, said, “We are excited to take the work of the Women’s Giving Circle to the next level. Women in our community have the skills, passion, and drive to make a positive impact.”
