Jose’s Blog: CERAland Haunted Trail Review

Columbus, IN, USA / QMIX 107.3

Hey guys! Welcome back. I really hope you are doing well, because I am doing well, too. The weather here has been very chilly these past couple of weeks, and I have really enjoyed it, and we are almost done with October! During September and October, I have been writing reviews about haunted houses, such as Fear Fair, and Shireman Homestead, and this weekend, I went down to Ceraland to experience it with my friend James.

Before I start, let me tell you that the haunted trail surpassed my expectations! Every year, Ceraland has a haunted trail called “Where Darkness Falls” during the month of October, and it is just $12 dollars to get in during the weekends! My friend James really enjoys Halloween, and so when I asked him, he was really up for it. He didn’t scream at all, but laughed at me when I got scared. Let me tell you that I can be perfectly fine during a horror movie, but not while walking at a haunted attraction, and I really don’t know why. As we entered, we were greeted by a creature at the entrance, and it was already dark when we entered, and knowing that the haunted trail would take place inside the woods was more terrifying for me.

I really do not want to spoil anything because this is a haunted trail that you really need to go to with your friends, or even your family, although I really do not recommend little kids. The special effects were great, and they were moments where “surprises” occurred, and those were spectacular. The actual trail seemed like we were walking in the middle of the woods, with total darkness, which made me very nervous. Overall, this trail is a must-go to before it closes at the end of October. Above, there is an image about all the information about the haunted trail. James made fun of me, and take your friends so they can make fun of you. Thank you Ceraland, I left scared.
