COLUMBUS, Ind. – Christmastime has arrived and that means that Thomasson, Thomasson, Long & Guthrie’s QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks is almost here.
The synchronized-to-music fireworks show, featuring all of your favorite holiday classics, is Saturday, December 7, in downtown Columbus. In addition to the fireworks extravaganza, there are many other family events planned for the afternoon and evening. Enjoy a magic show from Easterling Entertainment at 4 p.m., in The Commons, which will be followed by the Festival of Lights Parade throughout the downtown area starting at 6 p.m.
QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks will blast off in downtown Columbus, beginning about 10-15 minutes after the conclusion of the parade. The best place to view the pyrotechnics display is on Washington Street, between Second and Third Streets, near the QMIX tent.
After the fireworks show, Santa will be available for free pictures in the QMIX tent at 7:45 p.m.
