QMIX Musical Fireworks canceled

COLUMBUS, Ind. – After much consideration, Reising Radio Partners, Inc. has made the decision to cancel QMIX Musical Fireworks due to ongoing concerns related to the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are very disappointed to make this announcement, but there is a lot of time and work that goes into planning an event on the scale of QMIX Musical Fireworks. Because it is unclear if a gathering of this size will even be allowed by the state of Indiana come September, we made this very difficult decision,” says RRPI Operations Manager, Brittany Gray. “We would have loved to have been able to present an evening of fun and escape for our community, but we realize that public health and safety are the top priority.”

The fireworks display was initially postponed to Labor Day weekend from it’s traditional July 3 date. Reising Radio Partners, Inc. intends to bring the event back to Columbus Municipal Airport in 2021.
