Snow, slick roads cause school closings, delays

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Light snow on Wednesday and early Thursday created hazardous driving conditions for the morning commute on Thursday. Slick county roads meant a few school closings and delays for south-central Indiana.

Most schools in Jennings, Brown, and Jackson counties were closed. Bartholomew Consolidated, Flat Rock-Hawcreek, and other schools were on a two-hour delay.

For a complete list of closings, go to the Local News Digital “Team Weather Watch” web page.
