COLUMBUS, Ind. – In February, the Deaver Road bridge over Interstate 65 in Columbus was closed for resurfacing. For those who regularly travel the road, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has good news.
The new concrete deck was recently poured and construction is almost complete. The superstructure replacement undertaking is part of INDOT’s $65 million Added Travel Lanes project.
The Deaver Road bridge over I-65, in Bartholomew County, should reopen to traffic in the next few weeks.
