INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) said Tuesday that 2,673 new residents had contracted coronavirus and were included in its daily update for the 24 hours ending Monday at midnight. The state has now documented 937,221 cases of the disease since March 6, 2020.
According to ISDH, 81 additional deaths occurred between August 30 and September 20, and now 14,765 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19 over the last 19 months.
Bartholomew County totals 10,510 cases, Jackson County confirms 6,531, Jennings County reports 3,513, and Johnson County verifies 23,524 cases of the virus.
