JOHNSON/SHELBY COUNTIES, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor MAC Construction will soon implement nightly lane closures on I-65 in Shelby and Johnson Counties. The maintenance is between Exits 80 and 90 and starts on or after this Monday, October 4.
Lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Crews will be completing pavement patching and rehabilitation.
Work begins in the southbound lanes of I-65 and then switches to the northbound lanes. INDOT says the contract is expected to be completed by mid-November.
