INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced that 2,807 new Hoosiers were included in its Friday coronavirus update. So far, 1,049,575 residents have contracted the disease since March 2020.
ISDH said there were 71 more deaths verified as well, and now 16,518 Indiana citizens have died from COVID-19.
Bartholomew County has recorded 12,148 cases, Jackson County confirms 7,237, Jennings County reports 4,135, and Johnson County totals 26,000 cases of the virus.
