ISDH confirms nearly 3,000 new COVID-19 cases

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Coronavirus is being stubborn. The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) reported another 2,940 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The new update pushes the state’s total to 1,046,792 Hoosiers who have been infected with the disease.

ISDH also documented 18 new virus-related deaths and now 16,447 residents have died from COVID-19.

Bartholomew County has recorded 12,105 cases, Jackson County confirms 7,225, Jennings County verifies 4,123, and Johnson County has reported 25,938 cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began in March 2020.
