INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has announced the latest statewide vaccine totals. So far, just over 3.3 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated against coronavirus, but vaccination rates continue to move upward slowly.

ISDH reports that 52.2% of the state’s eligible population is fully vaccinated. That number will likely increase as more vaccine options become available, including the new pediatric dose now available for children ages 5 to 12.

The booster dose seems to be popular among eligible residents. According to ISDH, 543,750 Hoosiers have received a COVID-19 booster shot.

Indiana reported 2,807 new cases of the virus last Friday.
