INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced 12,960 new Hoosiers with coronavirus on Wednesday. The state’s seven-day positivity rate now sits at 22.5% as 1,299,480 cases of the disease have been verified in Indiana since March 2020.
ISDH also reported 39 new deaths. COVID-19 has now claimed 18,644 Indiana lives.
Bartholomew County has recorded 15,080 cases, Jackson County confirms 8,947, Jennings County totals 5,168, and Johnson County has certified 32,270 cases of the virus over the last 23 months of the pandemic.
