Over 30,000 Indiana COVID cases reported in last two days

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced 14,933 new residents with coronavirus on Friday. The update comes just one day after the state reached its largest number of cases (15,277) in a 24-hour span. To date, 1,329,423 Hoosiers have come down with the disease over the last 23 months of the pandemic.

ISDH also verifies that overall, there have been a total of 18,959 COVID-19-related deaths in the state of Indiana.

So far, Bartholomew County has confirmed 15,433 cases, Jackson County reports 9,142, Jennings County documents 5,261, and Johnson County has recorded 33,084 cases of the virus since the beginning of March 2020.
