INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) said 15,091 new residents were verified with contracting COVID-19 in its Wednesday update. A total of 1,292,574 Indiana citizens have been infected with the disease over the last 23 months.
ISDH also certified that 19,319 Hoosier lives have been claimed by the virus since the pandemic began.
Bartholomew County documents 16,335, Jackson County confirms 9,551, Jennings County reports 5,462, and Johnson County has recorded 35,037 cases of COVID-19.
