INDIANAPOLIS – According to the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), 55.3% of Indiana’s eligible population is now vaccinated against COVID-19. Hoosiers, ages five and older, are currently eligible to get poked.

According to data provided by ISDH, nearly 3.4 million Indiana citizens are vaccinated and over 1.5 million of those fully vaccinated have also received their booster.

In Bartholomew County, 48,122 residents have gotten their shots, which equals 57% of the county’s population.

Health officials strongly encourage residents to get vaccinated. Vaccines can protect Hoosiers from serious cases of COVID-19 that could lead to hospitalization.
