Indiana records over 17,000 new coronavirus cases

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) confirmed an additional 17,684 cases of COVID-19 in Indiana on Friday. It is another new daily record for infections. The state has now verified 1,524,527 of its citizens with the disease since the pandemic began.

According to ISDH, there have now been 19,992 Hoosiers who have died from coronavirus.

Bartholomew County documents 18,433 cases, Jackson County reports 10,772, Jennings County confirms 6,000, and Johnson County totals 38,772 cases of COVID-19.
