INDIANAPOLIS – There were 5,536 additional Hoosiers infected with COVID-19 who were included in the Wednesday update by the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). So far, 1,574,807 residents have come down with the disease since the beginning of March 2020.
ISDH also said that overall, coronavirus has claimed the lives of 20,296 Indiana citizens during the pandemic.
Bartholomew County has totaled 19,255 cases, Jackson County verifies 11,331, Jennings County reports 6,305, and Johnson County confirms 39,967 cases of COVID-19.
