Over 6,000 new Indiana coronavirus cases reported Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) confirmed 6,615 new residents with COVID-19 on Thursday. The state has now totaled 1,642,625 citizens with the disease since the beginning of March 2020.

ISDH says there were 57 virus-related deaths recently and the contagion has now claimed 20,856 Hoosier lives.

Bartholomew County has recorded 20,566 cases, Jackson County reports 12,016, Jennings County documents 6,702, and Johnson County has had 41,294 cases of COVID-19.
