ISDH confirms 2,062 new COVID cases

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Recently, COVID-19 positives have been trending downward. The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced 2,062 new Hoosiers with coronavirus on Monday. The state has had 1,651,981 residents contract the disease since the pandemic began.

No deaths were reported Monday but to date, ISDH says COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 20,984 Indiana citizens.

Bartholomew County has confirmed 20,743 cases, Jackson County verifies 12,116, Jennings County documents 6,750, and Johnson County has recorded 41,502 cases of the virus over the last 23 months.
