BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced northbound and southbound lane closures on I-65 from MM 64 to MM 68, between Walesboro and Columbus.
Crews will be performing pavement corrections and removing sections of the temporary barrier wall. Nightly operations are expected to begin at 9 p.m. and last until 6 a.m., seven days a week, and be completed by April 30.
Beginning on or after Monday, April 17 crews will begin southbound lane closures to install permanent traffic markings. After completion of the southbound lanes, crews will do the same operation in the northbound lanes. INDOT says each section should take about one week to complete. The work is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
