SEYMOUR, Ind. — A Seymour Young Marine Troop has reached its goal of attaining 1000 new stuffed animals to be shared by local hospitals. So, after Duke Energy helped the troop reach the milestone. organizers say they have now increased their goal for the Stuffed With Love campaign to 1500 animals.
Research shows that a new stuffed animal companion can calm a child and help them feel safe and not alone. To help the troop reach the new goal, residents may drop off any new stuffed animal at ATI Rehab Clinics in Columbus, Seymour, and Franklin.
