COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Council for Youth Development (CYD) has announced the selection of its youth ambassadors for 2023-2024. The program is designed to engage a diverse group of teens to develop their leadership skills and unique talents and use their voices for meaningful civic engagement and personal growth.

Several applicants applied from different areas of Bartholomew County. Among them, 17 students in grades 10-12, representing their peers, were chosen as Youth Ambassadors for the upcoming school year.

“We are thrilled to welcome the new voices to the cohort,” said Tim Green, CYD Program Coordinator.

The 17 Youth Ambassadors for 2023-2024 are:

  • Annabelle Andrus, grade 10
  • Adrianna Bustos, grade 11
  • Bo Crough, grade 12
  • Lauren Degner, grade 10
  • Eleanor Dickson, grade 10
  • Sara Hobbeheydar, grade 11
  • Eden Knight, grade 11
  • Varshika Loganath Siva, grade 11
  • Brittany Mercado, grade 11
  • Hannah Michel, grade 12
  • Sreepadaarchana Munjuluri, grade 12
  • Jossalin Resendiz, grade 11
  • Emma Stephens, grade 11
