COLUMBUS, Ind. – This Tuesday, October 10, is the deadline for residents to register to vote in the upcoming 2023 Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 7.
Last year, Columbus City Council voted to become a second-class city beginning January 1, 2024. With that change, nine council members instead of seven will be elected for the first time on November 7. There will be another seat for the sixth district and a new at-large seat.
Indiana residents can register to vote by visiting the county clerk’s office or online at IndianaVoters.com. On the website, Hoosiers can also confirm their voter registration, find out who’s on their ballot, contact local election officials, find their polling location, and get information about working the polls.
