COLUMBUS, Ind. – Heritage Fund has announced that Kristin Munn is now vice president of operations and development for the community foundation. Munn, formerly director of development, has been with Heritage Fund since 2013 and will assume responsibility for administrative operations, including gift and fund administration, office management, and donor outreach.

“Kristin has a deep respect and affection for the Bartholomew County community and has developed an amazing rapport with donors of Heritage Fund during her tenure. She is committed to ensuring that every person has an excellent experience interacting with Heritage Fund,” said Tracy Souza, Heritage Fund President/CEO.

Munn first joined Heritage Fund as manager of grants and community outreach, which she maintained until 2016 when she stepped into the director of development role. “Bartholomew County is truly a special place and I am thrilled to continue to serve in a role that allows me to collaborate with generous individuals and organizations dedicated to seeing our community thrive,” Munn said.

The new VP is a 2003 graduate of Indiana University. She received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy in 2017 and graduated from the first John Mutz Philanthropic Leadership Academy in 2021.

In addition to her work at Heritage Fund, Munn serves on the United Way Community Investment Committee, Bartholomew County Early Learning Coalition, Council for Youth Development Steering Committee, the Indiana Early Childhood Coalition Partners in Policy Committee, and CSA Lincoln PTO.

Tom Harmon, Heritage Fund Board member and former chair added, “I have witnessed Kristin’s ability to bring projects from vision to reality. She possesses many skills and brings a multitude of talents, knowledge, leadership, and energy to the organizations she serves.
