Rain on Wednesday night and Thursday will result in minor flooding along parts of the East Fork White and Flatrock Rivers. Persons with interests near these area rivers should closely monitor forecasts for updates.

Flooding of the Flatrock River in Columbus could result in high water and flood damage around Noblitt Park, County Road 400N, and Owens Bend Park.

The flood stage for the Flatrock River is 11 feet. The water was 7.8 feet on Wednesday morning and is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday night and crest at 12.6 feet early Friday afternoon.
