GREENWOOD, Ind. – The City of Greenwood is committed to a healthier, cleaner, and greener community. For that reason, in two weeks on Friday, April 26, the City is helping the environment by giving away 1,000 trees for Arbor Day.

The trees will be available at the Greenwood City Center and Craig Park Shelter from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or until gone.

Residents can choose from pecan, redbud, river birch, black cherry, or silver maple trees.
