COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus Engineering Department wants residents to be aware of road maintenance work on two projects early next week.
As part of the City’s 2023 Community Crossings Matching Grant Project, Milestone Contractors will work on Marr Road, from 25th Street north to Brent Cross.
On Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, crews will be patching Marr Road, which will be restricted to one lane. Flaggers will direct traffic in both directions.
That section of Marr Road will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., as crews open cut the roadway to install new stormwater infrastructure. Motorists should seek alternate routes on Wednesday.
Officials also remind that INDOT continues to work on a bridge deck overlay project on US 31 and has implemented lane restrictions north of 25th Street.
