INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reported on Tuesday morning that the body of Marcus Robinson, 30, of Indianapolis, was recovered from the White River near the 10th Street Bridge at around 6 p.m. on Monday.  He was one of the two kayakers who went missing on Wednesday evening, April 17, in Indianapolis.

The body of the other kayaker, Solomon Shirley, 22, of Indianapolis, was found by the search team in the White River in Indianapolis on Monday morning at 9:30.

The men were kayaking when they traveled over the remnants of a low-head dam near the 2000 block of North White River Parkway Drive West. A witness observed both men being ejected into the water.
