COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College will host a student business showcase and pitch competition, this Tuesday, April 30, at the Columbus campus, 4475 Central Ave. The public is welcome to attend.
At the competition, Ivy Tech students will participate in a business showcase, from 3-5 p.m., and a pitch competition to present their business ideas, from 6-8 p.m.
Students in the college’s Garatoni School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation will present. Students in the college’s other programs and alumni are welcome to enter. They will compete for cash prizes including $2,500 for 1st place; $1,250 for 2nd place; and $750 for 3rd place.
Community members attending the business showcase/pitch competition will hear the students’ ideas and are welcome to provide feedback.
Any Ivy Tech student or alumni wanting to enter the competition can complete an entry form at link.ivytech.edu/competition.
