PRINCETON, Ind. – On the heels of the $11 billion Amazon Web Services commitment to Indiana last Thursday, the Hoosier state received more good news as Gov. Holcomb announced that Toyota will be investing $1.4 billion in its Princeton facility to assemble an all-new battery electric vehicle.

This allegiance further solidifies Indiana’s position as a leader in the automotive industry and promises significant economic benefits for our community. It is the third major expansion at the Princeton facility in four years.

The investment marks a milestone in Toyota’s 30-year partnership with Indiana. From an initial commitment of $800 million, Toyota’s total investment has now reached $8 billion. This announcement underscores the state’s business-friendly environment and highlights the importance of a skilled workforce in driving long-term success for companies like Toyota.

The continued partnership will pave the way to create up to 340 new jobs by the end of 2025.

Through initiatives like the READI program, Toyota says it is investing in its operations and community projects to enhance the quality of life for Hoosier residents.
