COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus City Utilities (CCU) has passed its first safety audit from the Indiana Wastewater Environment Association (IWEA) with a 99% grade.
Roger Kelso, Director of Columbus City Utilities remarked, “CCU performance continues to be outstanding. Thank you to the staff of CCU and the Wastewater Treatment Plant for all the hard work to make this audit go so well.”
Only one recommendation for safety improvement was suggested for the facilities.
IWEA serves the wastewater and stormwater industries in Indiana. Members perform safety audits at other facilities to witness how other plants accomplish safety programs.
