COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College recognized outstanding graduates of its academic programs Wednesday during a special ceremony at Moravec Hall.

The College honored 29 graduates for their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. Ivy Tech faculty in each of the College’s schools chose the exceptional graduates, 22 of whom are from Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, and Shelby Counties.

Dr. Jackie Fischer, Ivy Tech Columbus Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs said, “Our outstanding graduates have gone above and beyond in efforts to reach their goals and involve themselves in their programs and campus.”

Ivy Tech will celebrate all graduates at its commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at the Columbus North High School gymnasium. The College will award 1,914 credentials, including associate degrees, technical certificates, and certificates, to 1,296 graduates.
