FRANKLIN, Ind. – Applications for the 2024 Volunteer of the Year Award are still being accepted by the City of Franklin. The Franklin Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has displayed outstanding volunteer service in the community within the last year.

The recipient gets city-wide recognition for their extraordinary efforts, their name on a plaque in City Hall, and a certificate for their achievement.

This award was created to recognize the extensive hours that volunteers contribute to the community’s continued success. It was named for Franklin’s Marty and Carolyn Williams, because of their commitment of time, energy, and efforts to ensure local events run smoothly.

Visit Franklin.IN.Gov and scroll to “News and Notices” at the bottom of the Homepage, or click here. You can also pick up a hard copy at Franklin City Hall.

Nominations are due Friday, May 17, by 4 p.m.
