COLUMBUS, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Beaty Construction, Inc. plans to conduct shoulder closures on State Road 11 and State Road 46 beginning on or after Monday, September 9, to complete a wall maintenance project in Columbus.
Crews will work on the right shoulders of eastbound S.R. 46, between Morgan Willow Trace and First Street, and on northbound S.R. 11, at Garden Road. It is expected to take up to one month, weather permitting.
This project is part of a $12.4 million contract awarded in February 2021.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. Schedules are subject to change.
