COLUMBUS, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor 5 Star Company, Inc., is scheduled to begin a small structure replacement project on State Road 46 over Fishers Fork on or after Monday, May 19, in Bartholomew County.
The maintenance on S.R. 46 is between South County Roads 450E and 525E, just east of U.S. 31. It is expected to be completed in late July, weather permitting.
Temporary traffic signals will be used during the work.
This project is part of a $1.7 million contract awarded in December 2024.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. Schedules are subject to change.
