COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) detectives began an investigation into allegations of child molestation in April.
A 14-year-old victim disclosed that she had allegedly been molested multiple times by Charles Reynolds, 55, of Seymour, when she was about six to seven years old.
After the completion of the BCSO investigation, an arrest warrant was issued in Jennings County for child molestation (level 4 felony). The suspect was apprehended on the child molesting charge in Seymour and remanded into the custody of the Jennings County Jail. Reynolds remains in custody on a $75,000.00 bond.
This is a preliminary investigation. All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
