JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. –The Johnson County Highway Department is reporting an extension of current Fairview Road between Leisure Lane and Green Hills Court in White River Township.
The closure was originally planned to end Friday, July 25, but will be extended until Wednesday, July 30. The ongoing roadway modifications are in order to improve available vertical clearance at the Indiana Railroad bridge crossing over Fairview Road. A closure extension required for more subgrade and pavement reconstruction than originally anticipated.
Drivers can take a detour through SR 135, County Line Road, and Peterman Road to bypass the intersection closure.
