COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center (LCNFC) is hosting a series of fundraising events at YES Cinema to raise funds to purchase a gently used truck. A replacement is needed because their old one was totaled in a hit-and-run accident.

Neighbors in the Lincoln-Central Neighborhood rely on LCNFC to provide emergency services, which sometimes require the use of a large vehicle and picking up essentials during inclement weather, where a truck is necessary. Insurance coverage provided a small settlement, but additional funds are needed.

Concession sales from the events below will help fund the replacement of the truck.

  • Taylor Swift: The Original Release Party of a Showgirl – October 3-5, world premiere of the music video, “The Fate of Ophelia,” with behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot
  • The Columbus Indiana YES Film Festival – October 24-26, the international film festival features over 20 films from around the world
  • Upcoming film THE MASTERMIND – Opening October 27, this art heist film was partially filmed in Columbus at the Bartholomew County Public Library and the surrounding area

LCNFC and YES Cinema seek the community’s help by purchasing concessions at these shows. To buy tickets in advance for these events, visit yescinema.org. To learn more about the truck project, call LCNFC at 812-379-1630 or email info@lcnfc.org.
