SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) arrested a local man for burglary on Friday, October 24.
Patrol officers and investigators with the Seymour Police Department responded to the 200 block of South Chestnut Street in Seymour in reference to a burglary. During the investigation, a suspect description was obtained. It was also determined that the suspect had attempted to burglarize another location in the 200 block of South
Chestnut St. and took items from a third location in the 400 block of W. Tipton St. As officers and investigators followed up on the information, the suspect was found in the 400 block of West Tipton St. and taken into custody.
Jeremy S. Gibson, age 34 of Austin, Indiana was arrested for two (2) counts of burglary, both level 5 felonies, and two (2) counts of theft, both level 6 felonies.
