COLUMBUS, Ind. – This year, IUPUC is looking to add something new during their Welcome Week. “Family Day” is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28. The Welcome Week event is free and open to all family of students. Some of the activities featured include a petting zoo, BMX show, giant games, prizes, plus the chance for students and parents to learn what IUPUC has to offer.
“We received feedback from students that they would like to show off the campus to their families,” said Bailey Moss, Assistant Director of Student Affairs at IUPUC.”It just seemed like a natural progression to also invite the entire community to be a part of the celebration of a new school year starting at IUPUC.”
In addition to “Family Day” on Wednesday, IUPUC’s Welcome Week activities for students include a “Back to School Breakfast” on Monday, “Taco Tuesday”, and the annual “Big Red Blowout” on Thursday.
