COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested Phillip Roberts, 32, of Columbus, on Monday on multiple drug charges.
Officers saw Roberts walking near 10th and Wilson Streets and confirmed there was a local warrant for his arrest, so he was taken into custody. CPD searched the suspect and his clothing and allegedly found a small bag of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside his backpack.
Roberts was then taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Bartholomew County warrant.
