HOPE, Ind. – After being canceled last year because of the pandemic, the town of Hope is getting ready for its 53rd celebration of Hope Heritage Days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 24-26. It is Bartholomew County’s oldest and largest multi-day festival.
The weekend features live music all three days, vendor booths, food, a pioneer village, a Gospel sing on Friday night, “Turtleman” Ernie Brown from Animal Planet TV on Saturday and Sunday, a classic car show all day and night on Saturday, a big parade on Sunday afternoon, plus fireworks and many other fun family activities.
During Hope Heritage Days, the small city expands from the normal 2200 residents to around 30,000 people.
