COLUMBUS, Ind. – With the forecast of inclement weather and very cold temperatures this weekend, Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM) says that warming centers will be open and available.
Brighter Days Housing, at 421 S. Mapleton St. in Columbus, will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily for the next several days.
The Community Engagement Center of Columbus, 1951 McKinley Ave., will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, including this Saturday and Sunday.
BCEM says the two facilities are coordinating their hours so a warming center will always be open.
